
# clearEntities

To remove entities like image or video from the current selection you can use the
`clearEntities` function.

## Usage

The `clearEntities` utility will clear entities from your selection. It'll
automatically remove your custom entities as well.

```ts
clearEntities(
  state: State,
  stateHandler: StateHandler,
) => State
```

## Example

An example of `clearEntities` usage:

import { useState } from 'react';
import { EditorState } from 'draft-js';
import { Editor, clearEntities } from 'contenido';


const Demo = () => {
  const [editorState, setEditorState] = useState(
    EditorState.createEmpty()
  );
